The US administration has stated that American purchasers are required to pay import taxes (tarrifs) on all good ordered from outside of the country, regardless of the items’ value. However the administration has also not created any clear system for how customers can pay this tax once their item has entered the country. For this reason many countries’ postal services, including Japan Post, have stopped service to the USA until the situation is resolved.
It is very unfortunate, but I cannot accept any webstore orders to the USA at this time. Since my webstore provider does not allow countries to be removed from the input system, I have adjusted the settings so that any attempt to order to the USA will show a dispropotionately high shipping fee. Any orders made in error will be canceled . Apologies, and here’s to hoping that the situation in the USA will change soon.
