Without yearning for the past nor dreaming of the future, cats live in the here and now and simply absorb the moment in which they are living. This series takes that cats’ mentality to shine a spotlight on the everyday scenes of our city streets: the shopfronts that we take for granted, even as the aging buildings grow increasingly rare as time continues to reshape the urban environment around us. Come and enjoy Erica Ward’s new series, “Nekomachi” where charming cats personify and watch over the nostalgic buildings of the city.

過去への懐かしさや未来への希望などなく、猫はシンプルに今瞬間をここで生きています。本シリーズではこの猫の精神性を持って、変化し続ける都会環境ではより珍しくなっているにも関わらず、我々が当たり前に感じてしまう、いつもの店先にスポットライトを当てています。エリカ・ワードのかわいい猫がノスタルジックな街並を見守る新作「Nekomachi」に是非お越しください。
