Erica Ward Solo Exhibition
Engimono 7/28~8/2/2020 at CLOUDS ART + COFFEE in Koenji Tokyo Open 13:00~19:00 I am excited to announce that I will be holding a solo exhibition in July-August this year. 2020 has been a strange year for everyone, filled with lots of fears and uncertainties. I wanted to channel some positive and protective energy back into this year, and have created a series based on 'engimono,' symbols of celebration and good luck intertwined within the urban environment of an imaginary Tokyo. As we cautiously start venturing back into the city I would love if my paintings of manekineko, tai fish, daruma, omikuji and others can bring a smile and serve as omamori for better days to come. Your purchase of art, merchandise, and coffee (in-store or beans to take home) will help keep CLOUDS, a local one-woman business, on her feet, so come out and share your love<3 Facebook event page: https://www.facebook.com/events/859818771174429/
